About the lab

The Power System Lab provides practical hands-on experiments on power system protection and generator synchronisation to fourth year undergraduate students.

The equipment is also used as part of teaching materials for the Power System course.

Circuit breaker, Inverse Time Relay, Variable voltage supply, Stop watch, Voltmeter, Ammeter, Motor generator, Synchroscope, Double frequency meter, Variable Transformer 3-phase, Tachogenerator, Single-phase transformer, Oscilloscope
